Capital City University is a private institution located in Kano. The institution was established in 2021 and received accreditation from the Nigeria Universities Commission (NUC) that same year to offer various degree programmes.
Under the administration of the vice chancellor of the university, Ahmed Nuhu Bamalli, the institution has experienced massive growth and been recorded as the only private institution aside from Abuja that got accreditation from NUC to offer pharmacy.
Barely four years after the establishment of the university, the institution is trying to catch up with other institutions across Nigeria, especially the private ones.
Starting with only two faculties and twelve and only twenty programme faculties and programmes, fast forward to 2025, and the university has managed to increase its faculties to four and also increased its programmes to 30 just in the space of 4 years.
